About School

Silver Oak CB Sr. Sec School, Delhi Cantt, which was established in 2002, is run by Delhi Cantonment Board.  The school is highly appreciated for its perseverance, diligence and for the inculcation of a comprehensive and holistic education by team work as an indispensable skill.

We are invested in the physical, mental and emotional well being of our students. Students are encouraged to share insights, propose new approaches, and learn new perspectives and ethos by observing one another.

In pursuit of Excellence, Silver Oak CB Sr. Sec School escutcheon is significant since 2002. It bears the school motto “Aspire, Act, Achieve”, exhorting our students onto strong holds of fortitude, patience, dignity and integrity, in the face of all adversities.

We at Silver Oak CB Sr. Sec School aim at creating the experiences needed to experiment, create, and nurture the self.

We endeavour to bring together the opportunities needed to explore the expanse of one’s inner being and potential.

We want to ENGAGE in learning, ALONGWITH our students. We applaud when our when our learners err… and rise stronger. We wish to expand the intellect, challenge the dogmas, and erase the self limiting threads of thought.

Since inception school has made its presence felt both in the field of academics as well as in sports. At Silver Oak CB Sr. Sec School the children get the best of education and opportunities to excel themselves in diverse fields. Aiming for holistic development of students, the inspiring and dedicated Teaching community equally diligent, and management provides an infrastructure good for students’ personality enhancement.

In academic arena our students have shown excellent performance by scoring higher percentage in Secondary School Examination every year.

The school attaches great importance to a varied programme of activities outside the ordinary class routine. These are designed to develop important traits like honesty, self-confidence, creativity, teamwork and diligence, and to hone latent talents of leadership and responsibility. The proper use of library facilities, study circles and clubs, debates, elocution and quiz contests, dramatics, music and dance – Western and Indian and excursions are some of the cultural as well as educational activities that are encouraged in the school.

All students are given a comprehensive course in Value Education, Environmental Studies and Faith Formation. In teaching the Humanities and the Sciences, the aim is to impart an integrated theoretical and practical knowledge based on the latest techniques and the requirements of the syllabus of the CBSE.

The curriculum is designed to stimulate intellectual growth and talent, based on universal values of love, compassion and shared responsibility. COUNSELLING

School Counsellor: The School Counsellor is available to students and parents with prior appointment.

Regular career counselling sessions are also conducted for the senior students.
